On this day in 1919, Tony Giacalone was born. He was a capo in the Detroit crime family and is better know as one half of the ‘Two Tony’s’ that were investigated in the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa, who at the time was the President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
The other mobster involved in the disappearance was Tony Provenzano.
Today would have been Tony Giacalone’s 101st birthday!
