On this day in 1992 would be a day that the book was thrown at John Gotti. After calling an eyewitness of the Sparks hit who identified Gotti associate John Carneglia as one of the men who shot Bilotti, they then brought Sammy Gravano in to testify.
Less than a month later Gotti was given life imprisonment without parole.
