The Library

Here in the Uncle Frank’s Place library, you will find a collection of resources dedicated to the history of Frank Costello. Frank is one of the most well-documented figures in Mob history, and there are a handful books that have been published about his life. Several magazine and newspaper articles also exist. Even the occasional news reel can be found, and fortunately some of these reels also contain audio of Costello talking. We’ve compiled as many of these resources as we could and included links to where you can find them if you wish.

More will be added as we discover them, and should you have a suggestion for a link that you do not see in the library, please let us know at

Casey McBride
Lead editor at the NCS, Casey was the first blogger to set foot in the Social Club, and is the curator at Uncle Frank's Place, that little corner of the NCS dedicated to the discussion and preservation of the life and times of racketeer Frank Costello. Casey's philosophy is to specialize. "There is simply too much information for one person to know it all." he claims. "That's the beauty of the NCS. We have folks from all walks of life, all with different interests and expertise, and it's growing all the time."
